PLEASE NOTE: NO DOGS AT PRESCOTT

It's going to be a fantastic event, the weather looks great, the cars coming look great, the people are great, the venue is great. Let's make it a good one. One last ALL CAPS all bold message:

AT ALL TIMES DRIVE IN A CONSIDERATE AND CAREFUL MANNER AROUND THE LOCAL ROADS AND VILLAGES. THERE ARE PEOPLE, CHILDREN, ANIMALS AND EVEN CYCLISTS ON THE ROADS LOCALLY, WE ARE GUESTS IN THEIR AREA, BE RESPECTFUL, DRIVE SLOWLY (NO, SLOWER THAN THAT), AND HOPEFULLY THEY WILL BE HAPPY TO HAVE US BACK AGAIN.

After thirteen years, we're heading back to Prescott Hill Climb - the venue we loved so much we simply had to leave when we outgrew it. This time we're doing things a bit differently, keeping numbers sensible so everyone can actually enjoy themselves.

It's the same relaxed Retro Rides atmosphere you know, just with one of the UK's most iconic motorsport venues as our backdrop. Whether you're bringing your pride and joy or the (pre-2000) daily hack that keeps you mobile, you're part of what makes this work. We've learned a thing or two about putting on events over the years, and this one's going to be something special.

Tickets are strictly limited and are all advanced sale only there will be no on the gate tickets. So if you want to be there, now is the time to do the ticket thing. We have non-Retro parking available.

Guest Cars
We've got some genuinely interesting metal confirmed for the weekend, with a few surprises we can't mention just yet. Expect to see some properly exciting stuff mixed in with the builds that have become legends. The owners are enthusiasts just like you, so don't be shy about having a chat. Some of the best conversations happen when you least expect them.
VW TYPE 3 SQUAREBACK 'SQUARERRA'
Cast your minds back to the show season of 2004 (yep, quite a while back!)... Brian Burrows VW Type 3 Squareback, known as 'Squarerra', hit the Volksworld scene and blew many of us away! Featuring a Porsche 993 GT2 engine and running gear, custom chassis, and many more modifications - it is absolutely wild. We've tracked down the current owner and will be welcoming the car as part of our static display at Retro Rides Gathering

So, if you want to see a very cool piece of VW show history, don't miss out on this! We highly recommending spending some time around the car to take in the endless mods

AUDI SPORT QUATTRO S1
Hamish White is no stranger to Gathering or Prescott, having been a guest of ours at our previous Gatherings at Prescott, in his previous car. We like a bit of symmetry, with his new car being a leveled up version of his old car, it made perfect sense to bring this awesome machine to the leveled up version of our event.

Check out the Speedhunters feature on the new car here.

THE CATERING MEATS SPECIAL
Built from a nearly new, burnt out 1976 Ford Capri hire car in Jersey by Barry Moignard to create a hillclimb special loosely based on the famous South African Capri Perana V8 race cars. The car has a great pedigree of motorsport including racing on the beach at St Ouen, sprinting at the 5 mile road and the hillclimb at Bouley bay for many years.

Now owned by Nigel Blandin, the car has undergone many improvements including a supercharged small block Ford V8 (making 549bhp) which we cannot wait to see and hear going up Prescott Hill Climb... this one is LOUD!

VW CADDY McLAREN POWER
Joel Vermiglio is building one of our most anticipated UK cars, this had planned to be with us at Gathering last year, but last minute (literal) emergencies got in the way. Which works out well for us, as it now more complete and will be even more so by the time Gathering rolls around. Truly one of the most wild builds on the block right now.

There is some video on his rarely updated Youtube channel, but really seeing this in the flesh is the best way to see it.

MITSUBISHI DIMMA 205 EVO!?
What do you get when you take one Mitsubishi Evo and cross breed it with a Peugeot 205? This absolute madness that's what. Built in 2014 as a T16 tribute, with panels by Terry Pankhurst of Dimma fame, underneath it is a Group N Mitsubishi Evo 6. All round this is exactly the kind of madness we love at Retro Rides.

K20 POWERED RX7
Sam Carr is no stranger to our events, having previously had this car in our Deadline display, as well as competing in the Quick60 event. An RX7, masses of aero and a K20 engine with a big old turbo on it. After a hefty rebuild it makes a welcome return to Retro Rides Gathering for a shake down. Now pushing 700bhp and sub 1000kg, watch as he gets to grips with the car and the hill.

INCREDIBLE PULSAR GTIR
Stuart Laurence is a crazy man, not only is he coming down from the far wilds of Scotland for our event, he has spent the last ten years build this absolutely unbelievable Nissan Pulsar GTiR himself. That includes the carbon fibre, the engine work, the suspension, the whole thing has been build from the ground up by Stuart. There is way too much to list here, so go and check it out. It'll be with our static cars because it still needs some more work before it can attack a hillclimb safely. However we couldn't not have it at the show, it is in the fantastic vision of one man and an incredible amount of work.

WIDE MAZDA MX5 V8
Another returning favourite from Quick60 and previous shows, Mantas Sliogeris and his 6 litre Corvette V8 powered Mazda MX5 has been causing a stir since the day it debuted. From Quick60 to Gymkhana to a bit of drifting, Mantas has thrown this car in to all sorts of stuff and handled it beautifully. We can't wait to see it head up the hill.

That's not all...
We've got a number of guests that we're leaving as surprises for the show... so don't miss out.
